You might be wondering what this random Starbucks pictures has to do with emails. Well I want to tell you how Starbucks really captures on email marketing.
Starbucks uses their emails to engage with customers. They draw you in with loyalty perks and help give ways to make the most of your time at Starbucks. Their main goal of email marketing is to gain loyalty. Sendlane talks about how they do exactly that! Their main goal of emails is to raise awareness to their rewards program. They also keep their emails short and sweet! This is really good because it draws people in and gives them the info they need without having to search. I personally really enjoy this because I know exactly what they want me to know, and what benefits me easily. There is no effort involved with it. Below is an example of that!

I really like the way Starbucks goes about using email marketing. They are a great example to look after. Once you can get your email marketing going there are so many great benefits that can come with it!

Great Blog. There are some wonderful points made. Small businesses seem to think social media is the case when it comes to customer acquisition. That may be the case sometimes but on the large scale, email marketing is where it is at. Good job.
ReplyDeleteI was honestly thinking the same thing when considering emails and how I hate spam emails! I hate seeing that I have a ton of new emails in my inbox but I did not realize that emails were so beneficial for business! Loved the blog!

ReplyDeleteI thought you made some very good points in your blog. what stood out most to me was the facts that many small businesses don't quite understand how important email marketing is. Social media is a great way to reach people initially, but to reach more people in a more effective manner, email is the way to go.

ReplyDeleteI love your point on how Email Marketing allows distribution at scale. I think a lot of the time, forwarding emails from different companies is the first thing that comes to mind. But if you have a big enough Target Market, that is such an easy way for your company to spread and bring in more users! Great Post!
