According to Niel Patel, he has 16 powerful tips, there is a lot you can do to have beneficial results in marketing on Facebook! I am going to cover the top 5 and as always if you are interested in seeing his point click on that link!

Tip #1 - Get a Vanity URL
This is basically a normal url that users can easily find you at. It basically is your business name after the Facebook website. This makes it easier to find you and makes it relevant to you instead of some random number afterwards.

Tip #2 - Use the Call to Action Button
This gives users an easy way to continue to get more from you. It makes it easy and simple and helps you in the long run.

Tip #3 - Utilize the Multiple Functions
Don't just stick to the typical post. Use photos and videos. Don't be afraid to mix it up and keep it different. Just make sure they all follow the same theme overall.

Tip #4 - Use Facebook Insights
These help you see page likes, post reach, and engagement over the last 7 days. This helps you know what works, what didn't, and what you need to improve on!

Tip #5 - Use Facebook Ads
Promote yourself with Facebook ads. They are over on the side bar and in the feed too! Overall it is actually cheaper than with Google.

A really great example of a company marketing on Facebook is Taco Bell! They use their Facebook to add humor and promote themselves in a non-aggressive way. They are actually one of the most popular fast food restaurants out there! Their Facebook helps draw people in and make them want to stop by Taco Bell.

Next up is Instagram! Niel Patel also has marketing tips for Instagram too! On this article he shares 10 powerful tips and I am going to share the top 5 with you guys!

Tip #1 - Make Your Account A Business Account
There are some great benefits that come with this. You can access Instagram Insights, which is basically their version of analytics. This shows how many people view your pictures and that view your page.

Tip #2 - Utilize the Free Stuff
Their insights are a great resource that is free. It helps you see those demographics of the people that see your content. You can see their gender, their location, their age range, and even the hour range of when they look at your content.

Tip #3 - Create Sponsored Ads
Instagram allows you to pay for ads. The benefit of this is you control how much you spend. You set the budget and they roll with it. These ads allow you to promote to anyone, espeically those who do not already follow you, but might be in your target audience.

Tip #4 - Partner with Influences
This can allow you a wider range of viewers. Sometimes it helps with lesser known brands to really get their name out to their target audience if they also fall into those who follow that influencer.

Tip #5 - Repost User Photos
Allowing users to post and tag you in their photos with the hopes of being reposted is a great way to get your name out there. This is basically free advertising. All you do in return is repost them either on your page or on your story!

A really great example of a company that markets on Instagram is Lego! On their Instagram they have a variety of posts. From staging what their products look like to videos of what their products do. They have it all. They also have highlights of all the product lines they have. It is really cool and I suggest you check it out!
